Located on the eastern side of the Yucatan Peninsula along the Mexican Caribbean, at the north end of the Riviera Maya, Puerto Morelos is 20 minutes (18km / 11 miles) south of the Cancun International Airport and about 20 minutes north of Playa del Carmen.
